"The Whiterose Festival, a holiday dedicated to the arts, is on 6/16. The Bollod Family, who are known for their patronage of the Orinari Arcane Institute, is hosting a masked ball. Guests are required to wear a mask depicting a monster of some kind, then will (willingly) be glamoured into the creature that their mask depicts for the duration of the ball. However, Lord Verzari Bollod believes that a mage he once worked with in the study of lycanthropy by the name of Egron Valdez has been attempting to kill him over the last few months, and in order to catch and kill his would-be assassin, is using the ball to lure him into the estate."

Almost as soon as the contract was explained (by a simulacrum in Lord Verzari's image), Bovo had a plan.
All three Wind-Walkers would be glamoured into vampires, then move incognito through the crowd of attendees, using small dosages of wolfsbane (which nauseates and irritates lycanthropes when they inhale it) to determine whose claws were illusionary and whose weren't.
Jor'n would stay close to Lord Verzari as he entertained his guests, ensuring that Egron would be unable to slay his target without undue resistance.
Bovo and Sarren, who were more stealthy than their Korvathi friend by far, took on the role of investigator.
Sarren, in an attempt to weed out the true werewolf, staged a small performance in a side room of the Bollod estate, having already planted a heavy dose of wolfsbane around the doorframe. When nobody in his audience reacted to the poison, Bovo took over.
During his investigations, he met a bard who had given himself draconic features through polymorphy. The bard introduced himself as Vashun Ebardac, the Dean of Instruments at the Orinari Arcane Institute, and once Bovo had confided in him, he offered to grant some assistance. Via a bardic performance, he stripped every partygoer in that wing of the estate of their illusions and polymorphs, revealing Egron for a split second. Bovo then convinced him to participate in a "play" centered around the age-old conflict between vampires and werewolves.
The play, conducted in front of all of Verzari's guests, was instead staged to kill the would-be killer.
And it barely succeeded.
After Egron had been stabbed and maimed with a silver dagger, had his arms broken and shoulders dislocated, and been frozen solid, Verzari Bollod's guests cheered the best display of illusionary performance they'd ever seen.
When Verzari took the party into a back room, he helped patch them up, congratulating them on a job well done. He petrified Egron, dismissing the party as he wheeled his potential killer's statue away. Despite the wounds they'd received during their "act," the Wind-Walkers left Verzari's estate six thousand gold and a few grisly scars richer, once again exuberant at another successful contract.
GM Notes: Possibly the coolest damn session we've ever had.
