Isakylma – Father of Winter
Believed to be the creator of all existence. He lives in the far northern reaches of the world, where no man may stand and live. He is worshipped by Korvathi and Garish humans, halflings, and dwarves.
He is depicted as a stern, unforgiving deity who unleashes terrible winters upon the land in order to make those in the north into his own image; a cold, powerful warrior whose will is done on his own strength. It is said that skilled and honorable warriors may, at the end of their lives, venture north, and find peace at long last in his hall.
The Valkyries, Isakylma's servants and children, deliver his messages, exact his justice, and reap the souls of those who die in battle.
Isakylma has but three laws:
1. If you desire it, take it for your own overtly and with fanfare. The Father of Winter is no thief in the night, and neither are you.
2. There is no other god before the Father of Winter. His is the north, where all false deities stumble in the snow.
3. Accept or give no quarter. Mercy is for those who will be blown away like chaff when the northern gales descend.
